Brussels' Grand Place may not seem quite like regular hidden europe territory. But it was interesting recently to stumble across an account of how the Belgian capital's most famous piazza might actually pay subtle homage to the world of freemasonry. It is a fetching tale, akin to the story of the chakra fields that allegedly give special meaning to the Wawel Hill in Kraków (upon which we reported in our e-news in June 2005).
The main square in Brussels boasts a wonderful array of baroque guildhalls and a magnificent town hall.
