Suddenly the soul is restless, and, whatever the season, we need to make a journey! As for example to the Prokletije mountains, a wild and rugged region that rises to over two and a half thousand metres in a part of the southern Balkans noted for its unkempt borders. Here, on the shoulder of Mount Deravica, the frontiers of Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo all converge.
It is a region where cartography can delude. Our old map of the area, published in Budapest in 1997, both entertains and deceives. As an instrument for modern navigation it has its shortcomings!
