I have vague memories of once boarding a tram in Helsinki that was fitted out as a pub. Sort of bar stools, beer on tap and even an on-board loo. Our Finnish spies tell us that the pub tram still makes forays around Helsinki's city centre every summer afternoon and evening, offering visitors the chance to see the city's sights through a beery haze. Sponsored by a Finnish brewery, the pub-tram interior evidently now looks a bit like a Victorian brothel and the basic seven euro fare covers the one hour tour and includes one beer. Top-ups can of course be ordered on board.
