We write about Europe's lesser known places and celebrate our continent's diverse cultures. Start exploring our site by using our search facility at the top right. Enter the name of a place, a country or a topic (e.g. Venice, Abkhazia, railways) to see what we have published. Believe us, there is a lot to discover.
navigating the website
As you can see in screenshot 1, the hidden europe website has a main menu bar at the top of each page (below the search facility). It renders easy access to the main parts of the website: the 'home' tab gets you back to the entrance page, 'about us' gives some information as to what we do, 'the magazine' has information on hidden europe magazine (issues, articles, contributors, purchasing information and more), 'newsletter' takes you to hidden europe' s free e-brief (and our newsletter archive) and the 'notes' tab leads you to the travel related news snippets which we publish on our website. Further sub-menus are generally located in the right sidebar.
You'll find further links to key pages of our website (e.g. our sitemap, faq, RSS feed) at the bottom of every page (see screenshot 2)
A great way of exploring what we have published in hidden europe magazine and elsewhere on our website - apart from using the search facility located at the top right of every page - is following keywords (tags) that are shared between texts of similar thematic or geographic content. You'll find the tags at the bottom of each article (see screenshot 3). Many articles also have links to related texts in the sidebar.
We hope you will enjoy exploring our website. And if you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
