Rudolf Abraham is the author of Walking in Croatia, Torres del Paine and The Mountains of Montenegro, all published by Cicerone Press, and National Geographic Traveler's Croatia. In 2009 his article on the Velebit mountain massif in Croatia, published in hidden europe 22, secured an award for the best outdoor feature from the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild, of which Rudolf is a member. He is also a member of the British Guild of Travel Writers. Rudolf is currently working on guidebooks to the mountains of eastern Turkey and long distance trails in Northumberland; he also writes on Islamic art and architecture. He lives in London.
