  1. Can I buy hidden europe at a newsagent or in a bookshop?
    No. We are a small publisher and prefer to have direct contact with our customers. The overheads imposed by high street retailers would more than double the cost of hidden europe. So we prefer to take your orders personally or via our online shop.

  2. I have just subscribed to hidden europe. When will I receive my first issue?
    Your first issue will be the one you specified in your order. If you specified the next issue on sale, then you will receive your copy by about the 5th of the month that the next hidden europe is published – possibly two or three days later if delivery to outside Europe. This is also true for gift subscriptions. Of course, you will receive a confirmation email that includes all details referring to your subscription.

  3. Can I take out a hidden europe subscription for a friend?
    Yes you can. Just click here to order a gift subscription online. Of course, we also take your order by phone or email.

  4. Can I order a single copy of hidden europe?
    Yes you can. Although hidden europe is usually purchased on a regular subscription basis, we also make provision for those who just want to buy a single copy. You can buy the current issue or a back issue of your choice. Purchasing a single issue of our magazine might take up to two weeks to reach you by post. We will, of course, inform you by email once your order has been shipped. We also sell back issue bundles — often at discounted rates.

  5. Which payment options do you offer?
    We offer payment by credit card (VISA, VISA Debit, MASTERCARD, Laser), by cheque (for the United Kingdom), by international bank transfer (IBAN and BIC) and by direct bank transfer (for Germany). We accept payment in pounds Sterling and Euro. Please note that, unfortunately, we cannot accept VISA ELECTRON.

  6. I would like to pay in US dollars. Is this possible?
    Our trading currencies are pound Sterling and Euros. However, if you pay for hidden europe by credit card (Mastercard, Eurocard or VISA), your credit card company will automatically convert these currencies to US dollars. If you want to know how much hidden europe costs in US dollars, feel free to use the currency converter we provide in our online shop.

  7. What do I do if I do not receive an issue?
    Whilst we make every effort to ensure your subscription issue arrives on time, occasionally issues do go missing or may be delayed. If you have experienced any kind of delay with your issue of hidden europe, please contact us so that we have a closer look at the matter. Of course we shall send you a new copy if necessary.

    Just phone us at 0049 30 755 16 128 or send an email to subscriptions@hiddeneurope.co.uk to notify us about the changes.

  10. How do I know that your online payment system is secure?
    Our site has a GeoTrust Server Certificate to safeguard your online transactions which uses 128-bit SSL encryption. Credit card payments are processed by WorldPay, which is part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group.

  11. What happens with the personal information I give to you in the ordering process?
    Your privacy is important to us. Your personal details will not be sold or traded, and will only be used to send you requested information. Please click here to read our Privacy Notice.

  12. What happens if I want to cancel my subscription to hidden europe?
    Should you find that hidden europe is not for you after all, you contact us and cancel your subscription. Of course we shall give you a full refund of any remaining money.

  13. I cannot change to my preferred currency. Although I click on "Pounds Sterling", the prices are still displayed in Euros.

    In order to read and print a pdf file you need the Adobe Reader which you can download here for free.
